Places of interest in EC4

Moorgate station

Peak-hour First Capital Connect trains on the Thameslink service from Bedford and Luton formerly terminated here using platforms 5 & 6, parallel to the Circle, Hammersmith & City and Metropolitan platforms 1 & 2 (through platforms) and 3 & 4 (bays). The Underground lines are electrified on the standard London Underground four rail system, the former Thameslink bays using 25kV AC overhead. The word Thameslink does not appear on any signs within the station; signs to platforms 5 & 6 bear the words "Trains to Bedford".

St Mary Moorfields

St Mary Moorfields is a Roman Catholic church in the City of London. The present building, located at 4-5 Eldon Street, was opened in 1903. However, the foundation had a long history prior to this. A chapel was opened in 1686, but was suspended in 1689, in the aftermath of the Revolution of 1688.

CityPoint

In early 2007, the building was again put on the market, this time for £650m. At the time, this made it the most expensive building ever sold in the UK, as a private US company - Beacon Capital - agreed to buy it. However, 8 Canada Square in Canary Wharf eclipsed this by some margin when, in April 2007, it was sold for over £1 billion.

Coram's Fields

Coram's Fields is a large open space in the London borough of Camden in central London, England. It occupies seven acres in Bloomsbury and includes a children's playground, sand pits, a duck pond, a pets corner, café and nursery. Adults (defined as anyone over the age of 16) are only permitted to enter if accompanied by children (under 16).
